Working Together Towards Our Future
The new Community Centre is being built on Belleville Street, across from the Field of Dreams in Wellington. It will be a fully accessible facility featuring a dedicated Indoor Walking Track, a Community Hall capable of hosting weddings, banquets and the like for 300 plus people, an Activity Room to offer activities and programs for seniors and children, an NHL size Arena with individual seating for 900 – 1000 people and will incorporate the most up to date energy efficient components available.
In addition to the traditional uses, the Community Centre will be able to host larger community events, concerts and trade shows. The Walking Track will be accessible and available morning, afternoon and night. There will be organized activities for seniors and toddlers throughout the week as well as after school programs in the Activity Centre. The facility will be capable of hosting larger Hockey and Figure Skating events and truly be a place where County residents will come together.
